Praia da Luz

Luz is a cute Portuguese resort town, apparently very popular with the British ex-pats. I heard as much English as Portuguese there. Also -- oh my lord the flies. I thought I knew flies coming from NYC, but I got assaulted by more flies that week than I do all year in the city.

Faro

Initially I was just going to fly in and out of Faro, but decided to spend an extra afternoon at the last minute. Ended up catching a street fair.

Vibes

Donostia is special in having both mountains and the beach right next to the city. This made for some great vibes and very temperate cloudy weather. I'm a big fan.
