One of the reasons I came to Morioka was to visit the Grand Seiko studio in Shizukuishi. Super interesting to see how they designed workspace for their watchmakers, who need both collaboration and space to do deep work. Sadly, photos of the actual workshop were prohibited because trade secrets and all.The cadence of the beams recalls the tick-tock of a watch.No but seriously imagine this being your office view.Sadly Mount Iwate did not come out to play.
